Generally Insurers will undertake various investigations in relation to your compensation claim. This will include obtaining medical records, engaging an investigation, who will ordinarily carry out surveillance filming, as well as monitoring your social media use. Whilst the Insurers monitoring of Facebook may be of no use in the vast majority of cases in showing nothing different to the details of the claim,it is important that you be aware of Facebook and other social media monitoring by Insurers.
