Giles Finney

Principal

Giles has been helping Central Coast residents with their legal needs for over 39 years.

After completing his Bachelor of Law degree at Sydney University, Giles was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court in December 1985. Since then, he has practised law on the Central Coast, with offices in both Gosford and Wyong. Giles is an accredited Personal Injury Specialist.

Giles’ focus has always been on supplying personalised, quality legal advice to his extensive client base. Over time, he has steadily built a reputation for always getting results in the most cost-effective and practical manner.

Giles Finney was previously an accredited specialist in Personal Injury Law and has over 30 years' experience in helping people who have been injured in all types of accidents, including Motor Vehicle collisions. He has recently passed on the baton to James Parkin and Kye Bruce who are now themselves accredited specialists in Personal Injury Law.

Accredited Specialist

In 1992 The Law Society of NSW introduced to its members the opportunity for solicitors to be recognised for their particular skill in an area of law. The Law Society called this their Specialist Accreditation programme. To become a specialist, solicitors need to demonstrate their proficiency in a particular area of law, which is recognised and conferred by fellow solicitors. Specialist Accreditation helps solicitors distinguish themselves from other practitioners. It is a nationally recognised mark of distinction run by state-based solicitor associations.

To qualify for Specialist Accreditation a solicitor must have practised full-time for at least five years and worked in their area of speciality for at least three years.

Coastal Compensation Law Specialists will ensure that all cases they conduct will be handled efficiently, effectively and expeditiously and under the guidelines of the NSW Law Society Specialist Accreditation programme.
